Position:
Environmental Officer (1 Position) – APPLICATION CLOSED
Location:
- Successful candidate will be positioned at earthwork project site in Cyberjaya, Selangor.
Qualification:
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree/ or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year relevant working experience in construction industry or related field.
- Candidate must have CESSWI as well as EO Competency Certification.
- Candidate must possess own transport with valid driving and/or motorcycle license.
Requirement:
- Ensure proper record keeping of all environmental records and compliance for the management and other stakeholders.
- Should be able to advise the company or client on resolving the non-compliance issues as and when required and as per local authority or DOE requirement.
- Liaise with local authorities in regards to compliance with relevant environmental law and regulations.
- Responsible for carrying out joint inspection with client, consultant or any environment parties and reporting or doing presentation on environment assessment and monitoring or any necessary document on environment matters.
- Guide the management or client on complying with approved EMP and ESCP requirement on site.
- Attend all site meetings with client, consultant or any environmental government body on addressing and managing the environmental issues on site.
- Familiar with DOE online reporting requirement.
- Must be able to communicate with the workers and able to coordinate site works.
- Efficient and able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Language Requirement: Good written & spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Knowledge in ISO 14001 (EMS) & 9001 will be advantages
- Familiar with Environmental Management System (EMS) & EHS will be advantages.
